The idea
Every resident passes through the stairwell every day, yet the information there is often outdated. We bring it onto a screen the management edits itself, one that does more than a paper board thanks to touch.
Quartiero turns the stairwell into a place for clear information. Instead of faded notes on the board, a touch screen shows what matters in the building right now and offers residents small everyday services.
Every resident passes through the stairwell every day, yet the information there is often outdated. We bring it onto a screen the management edits itself, one that does more than a paper board thanks to touch.
The stairwell is the one place everyone in an apartment building really uses. A notice reaches everyone here, with no letter and without anyone setting up an app. That is exactly why the house info belongs there.
A display-only screen only informs. With touch it becomes a tool: residents browse the house rules and tap through the content. Services like booking the laundry room or a parking display are planned. This daily use is what anchors the screen in the building.
We develop the platform ourselves and run it on Swiss cloud infrastructure. The devices are prepared so a caretaker can set them up without technical knowledge. We start in one region and grow step by step, so each device runs reliably before the next is added.
Data protection is part of the design, not an add-on afterwards. The screens count anonymously and without a camera, no one is linked to a person, and the data stays in Switzerland. The value for the building is kept without anyone becoming a data point.
Behind Quartiero are two founders with complementary strengths: one knows property management from the inside and what administrations need, the other builds and runs the platform. Quartiero is an independent Swiss venture, founded in 2026.
The name says it: Quartiero comes from Quartier, the neighbourhood. That is where the digital building info grows, into local connection. Providers from nearby can show their offers right where they are useful to residents, say the bakery around the corner or the physiotherapy next door. The stairwell screen becomes a bridge between the building and its neighbourhood, with the benefit to the building always first.
We are happy to show you how the screen looks in the stairwell and how getting started works.
